To make rose petal syrup, start by collecting fresh, pesticide-free rose petals. Rinse them gently to remove any dirt or debris. In a saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar, and bring to a simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the rose petals to the syrup and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely before straining out the rose petals. Store the syrup in a clean, airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. **

A rose petal or leaf tattoo would likely look better on the inner forearm as it provides a larger and flatter surface area for the design to be displayed. The inner forearm is also more visible and easily accessible for showcasing the intricate details of the tattoo. On the other hand, the shoulder may not provide as much space for the design and may not be as easily visible.
